Short fiction writer based in Manchester, UK. ‘Talking to Ghosts at Parties’ is available now.
Rick White is a writer of short (and very short) fiction whose work has been nominated for Best Small Fictions, Best Microfictions, Best of the Net, Best British & Irish Flash Fictions and the Pushcart Prize. Rick’s work can be found in many online literary journals including X-Ray Lit Mag, Milk Candy Review, Maudlin House and Trampset. Rick has also worked as an associate editor for Tiny Molecules and Trampset.
In 2022, Rick’s debut short story collection, “Talking to Ghosts at Parties” was published via Storgy books. Though the book is still available to buy in both the UK and US, Storgy Books unfortunately ceased trading in 2023 and so Rick is currently seeking a new home for the book, as well as working on a brand new collection and a novel.
Rick’s story, “Stargazey Pie” will appear in the 2024 Best Microfictions Anthology and was recently featured in the Irish Times.
